This is your Cathedral and you are very welcome to be here for worship and to explore Christianity and faith more deeply. The main congregational act of worship is the Sunday Eucharist service at 10.30am.

Peterborough Cathedral is part of the Church of England and the worldwide Anglican Communion. We have regular congregations not only for the Sunday Eucharist service when children’s groups are also available, but also for services at other times. The main daily service attended by visitors is Choral Evensong. At special times such as Christmas Eve or Remembrance Sunday, we often welcome congregations of 1000 or more people. For a full list of acts of worship, see our Services page.

The Community Forum

The Community Forum, which meets five times a year, is a body made up of representatives from different parts of the Cathedral community. It provides an arena for discussion and feedback between the Chapter and people in the wider Cathedral community, such as the congregation, about the current and future operation of the Cathedral.

The Forum has a particular interest in voicing the congregation's views, directing the outward mission budget determined by Chapter and encouraging the financial giving and stewardship of all who worship at Peterborough Cathedral.

In addition to the Forum’s five meetings a year, there is an annual congregational meeting in April to which the Forum reports.
