Create your own papercraft artwork of the Nave ceiling at Peterborough Cathedral. During this creative workshop, you will be given a brief introduction to the beautiful art of papercrafts. Contemporary papercraft illustrator Shobhna Patel will share her professional knowledge, key techniques and the technical do's and don'ts of this artform.
In this papercraft workshop, you will learn:
• the fundamentals of papercraft
• how to confidently and safely use a craft knife to create an intricate paper artwork, Shobhna will provide you with templates to carefully cut around
• techniques to control the paper and cardstock and it's behaviour
• hone your papercraft skills to create your own papercut patterns and designs at home

All tools and materials will be provided, so you won't need to bring anything with you, except for a healthy dose of creativity!

Upon completion you will be able to take home an ornate paper artwork of Peterborough Cathedral’s Nave ceiling, which can be displayed as is or in a shadow box frame.

Tea and coffee provided. Light lunch optional
