Safe in Space

Cathedral Cloisters
Wednesday 11th - Thursday 12th August 2021
10:00 - 14:00 (each day)

In this entertaining outdoor show, the Cambridge Science Centre will demonstrate how it's possible for humans to be safe in space.

How amazing to be an astronaut! Going into space would be pretty cool, but have you ever considered how astronauts stay safe in space? Have you wondered why is life in space different to our life on earth? Maybe you have thought about why astronauts wear space suits and what are they made of? Perhaps you have thought about why is coming back to earth so difficult?

The ‘Safe in Space’ show explores all these questions and provides you with the answers!

The session is suitable for 5-11 years old. Children aged under 7 years may require a little adult help with some activities. Younger siblings are welcome to attend.
