A listing of online and in-person services for Easter Sunday. Booking is required for the 10.30am Eucharist service.

Where indicated as a live stream or pre-record, these services will be online via the Cathedral's Facebook page or YouTube channels. 

The times below indicate when the services go live. Live stream services will be available to view for 24 hours from this time. Pre-recorded services stay online for longer.

Easter Sunday

8.00am, Holy Communion (public)

This said service is open for public attendance. Booking is not required. It will not be live streamed.
Please read the Guidelines for worshippers before you attend.

9.30am, Online Easter service (pre-recorded)

A video service for Easter Sunday.

10.30am, Eucharist at the Cathedral (live streamed + public) Watch on our website or on Facebook or via YouTube 

This service is both live-streamed and open for public attendance. Pre-booking, free of charge, is required to ensure social distancing. Please read the Guidelines for worshippers before booking your place(s) via this link: BOOK NOW. Booking has now closed.

3.30pm, Evensong at the Cathedral (live streamed) Watch on our website

Evensong with special music for Easter, sung by members of the Cathedral choir, as permitted by Covid restrictions in place at the time. The service is online only.

6.00pm, Easter Organ Meditation (pre-recorded)

Our Organ Scholar, Imogen Morgan, will play joyful music for Easter.

Guidelines for worshippers

Anyone attending public worship will be:

• required to wear a face covering in the Cathedral (unless unable to do so for health reasons)

• required to sanitise hands on entering the Cathedral

• asked to scan the QR code or leave details for the NHS Test and Trace scheme

• asked to sit as directed by Stewards

• required not to mingle with anyone outside their household or support bubble

In accordance with government requirements, the congregation is not permitted to sing.
