Stunning reception marks launch of Corporate Keys Scheme

Friday 12 January

The reception hosted by the Dean was attended by business and civic leaders with performances from the Lay Clerks.

On Thursday 11th January local business and civic leaders and supporters of Peterborough Cathedral joined the Dean, the Very Revd Chris Dalliston, and the Chair of Peterborough Cathedral Trust, Gillian Beasley, to hear about the Cathedral’s future plans and funding needs, and to launch our new Corporate Keys scheme for businesses who wish to show their support for the Cathedral.

The atmospheric event – held in the Cathedral nave, with songs from the Cathedral choir and a stunning view of the Mars art installation under the tower– was attended by over 60 people.

The Dean spoke of the many opportunities that this place provides to ‘touch history’ as well as to create new memories, and our vision that the Cathedral must remain and be a welcoming place of worship, education and history for people of all ages, for people of all faiths or of none, for generations to come.

Gillian Beasley reflected upon the many ways in which people and businesses can engage with and support the Cathedral, including through the Keys supporter schemes, other ways to donate, and by taking part in our exciting range of events and learning opportunities.

Thank you to everyone who attended the event.
