Welcome to our website. As well as information about services and worship you can find additional details on our heritage, choristers, events, our role in the community and updates of our plans over the coming months and years as we move towards our 900th anniversary in 2018. We are very proud of our Cathedral and hope that our site inspires you to come and visit us soon and see the majesty of this great Cathedral Church for yourself.

Temporary Entrance due to building work

The main Cathedral entrance for all visitors, temporarily, is the Dean's Door around the left hand side of the building viewed from the West Front.

Follow the road and path to the left of the West Front into the old cemetery. The doorway is just round on the right, leading into the north Nave aisle.

The main West Door is currently closed to allow work with access and landscaping at the front of the Cathedral.
