The Exhibition Room

This elegantly proportioned room is framed by two floor to ceiling windows, one overlooking the West Front of the Cathedral and the other looking onto the Bishop’s Palace and garden behind the Visitor Centre.

The Exhibition Room is on the mezzanine floor just above the Visitor Centre’s ground floor display which tells the story of Peterborough Cathedral, from Roman times to the present, through a fascinating timeline, digital touch table and other interactive exhibits.

A programme of temporary exhibitions is shown in the Exhibition Room and these are open to the public during normal Visitor Centre opening hours.

However, from 5.00pm daily this lovely room is available for private receptions.
