A VIP Valentine’s Day special is being offered on 14th February, when guests can enjoy Evensong with the Cathedral Choir, afternoon tea in the beautiful New Building and top price tickets for Twelfth Night.
Peterborough Cathedral is offering a VIP Valentine’s Day special on Thursday 14th February, when guests will be able to enjoy the splendour of Evensong with the Cathedral Choir, afternoon tea with Prosecco in the beautiful New Building, followed by top price tickets for the evening’s performance of Shakespeare’s comedy, Twelfth Night.
They will have complimentary drinks during the interval, with the opportunity to meet the cast if they wish. Married couples can also choose to renew their wedding vows during Evensong.
The production of Twelfth Night is presented by the talented Gearbox Theatre Company. Set in the 1960s, it combines a live skiffle band and Shakespeare’s poetic language to create a colourful production of one of the bard’s best loved comedies. There is love and marriage, laughter, mischief and cross-dressing.
The two person ticket for the VIP Valentine’s Day experience is £85. Supporters of those renewing their vows are welcome to book the deal too, or just attend the service and enjoy the tea for £19.99 per person. Advanced booking is essential. Evensong starts at 5.30pm and is followed by tea. The performance of Twelfth Night is at 7.30pm.
