Please donate if you can

Friday 20 March

The fight against the coronavirus outbreak has financial implications for us all, and we remain very aware of the need to continue our support for Food Banks and other charities doing vital work.

Cathedral donations have fallen steeply

The Cathedral is also feeling the effects of this financial challenge. As you can imagine, there has been a dramatic drop in donations both from visitors and from those who would normally give when attending a service. Income from event ticket sales and room hire have come to a juddering halt, all at a time when the Cathedral’s finances are barely emerging from recent difficult times.

If you find that you are able to support us, it would make a big difference if you could make a donation. In doing so you will help us to keep helping others, and continue as a symbol of hope and stability in these uncertain times.

Ways of giving

  • Online, through our Virgin Money Giving page.

  • Direct from your online bank account. Please email accounts@peterborough-cathedral.org.uk to ask for our bank details.

  • By cheque payable to Peterborough Cathedral, posted to
The Cathedral Office, Minster Precincts, Peterborough PE1 1XS.

Please use this Gift Aid Form if you are a UK tax payer, so that your donation is worth an additional 25% when we claim this from the government.

Any gift is hugely appreciated.

Thank you.
