See Peterborough Cathedral by Candlelight on Friday 24th March

Monday 13 March

Peterborough Cathedral is giving an unusual guided tour at 7.00pm on Friday 24th March – a rare chance to see the building as our ancestors saw it, by candlelight.

Last year’s candlelit evening for photographers was a huge success and oversubscribed, so early booking is advised. The Cathedral will be closed to other visitors for the evening, so guests will be able to enjoy exclusive access to the building. There will be plenty of time to admire the atmosphere and serenity of the great spaces, whilst listening as one of our well informed guides as they tell the Cathedral’s story.

The ticket price includes permission to take photos and a glass of Prosecco or fruit juice at the end, with the opportunity to chat to each other and the guide. The guided tour itself will last around 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Tickets are £12 (£10 concessions) and may be booked at http://shop.peterborough-cathedral.org.uk/tickets or at Peterborough Visitor Information Centre, 41 Bridge Street, Peterborough PE1 1HJ (01733 452336). PLEASE NOTE THIS TOUR IS NOW FULLY BOOKED.
