The electricity of his live performance has meant many of the preconceived stereotypical barriers of ‘Folk Music’ have been blasted away, and he has been widely credited with breaking down the perceptions and barriers often associated with this genre. Seth combines traditional folk music with modern universal themes of human struggle, love and loss. His music unites traditional tales & furious fiddle playing with his own unique brand of ‘indie-folk’. Seth’s pioneering success in fusing a new breed of indie-folk music into a more mainstream audience has given a greater voice and profile to the likes of Noah & the Whale, Laura Marling and Mumford & Sons. We are extremely excited that Seth is visiting the Cathedral and look forward with eager anticipation to see how his live show will reverberate in such a majestic setting as the Cathedral.
