Peterborough Cathedral has charitable status, and as such we receive no government funding and are largely reliant on the generosity of individuals and grant making groups to keep the Cathedral open 364 days a year.
We are always grateful for any financial gift, no matter how large or small and we have now made it even easier for you to help. As well as donation boxes in the Cathedral and collections at services, you can now also donate directly to our Fundraising Team as a one off donation or to a specific area of our work by sending a cheque made payable to The Peterborough Cathedral Trust and posting it to Peterborough Cathedral Development and Preservation Trust, Cathedral Office, Minster Precincts, PE1 1XS with a covering letter explaining where you would like the money to go.
It is also now possible to make a contribution by credit card by either enquiring at the Welcome Desk if you are visiting the Cathedral or by calling the Cathedral Fundraising Team on 01733 355315 to give your card details and make a donation over the telephone.
In addition we receive financial support from our two subscription bodies The Company of St Peter and The Friends of Peterborough Cathedral, which those wishinig to give on a regular basis may like to join.
There are many other ways of contributing financially, such as leaving a legacy, becoming a benefactor or securing a memorial gesture in return for a donation to remember a loved one for years to come. If you would like to find out more about these other ways to give your support to the Cathedra.
Thank you for your support.
