In our modern, increasingly secular society, Peterborough Cathedral testifies to the faith, vision and determination of our ancestors, and stands as a symbol of hope for the future.
Inspired by this vision The Peterborough Cathedral Development and Preservation Trust was formed in 1995 to ensure that this legacy from our past can be understood and enjoyed today, and handed on to future generations.
Its fundamental aim is to secure the future of the Cathedral and all that it stands for by raising funds to help develop the Cathedral’s mission and ministry and to preserve its ancient and historical buildings for generations to come.
If you share with us a vision to provide refreshment in body, mind and spirit for all who visit this place, please consider making a generous financial gift to support our work. Please click here for more information on our fundraising options.
The Trust Patron is His Royal Highness The Duke of Gloucester KG, GCVO and the current Chairman of the Trust is Simon Schanschieff OBE DL.
There are presently 32 Trustees including the Mayors of Peterborough and Northampton, the Lord Lieutenants of Cambridgeshire, Northampton and Rutland as well as other community leaders from around the Diocese of Peterborough.
For more information about the Trust or to make a donation to the Trust funds, which all help to support the Cathedral please contact our Trust Administrator, Anna Shaw, on 01733 355315 or email trust@peterborough-cathedral.org.uk.
