A number of our venues are now available for private hire for special business functions and private events, as well as conferencing. This may include small birthday, anniversary or wedding celebrations, as well as company dinners, outdoor soirees, drinks receptions and special events.
We have 5 stunning venues available for private hire including the beautiful Deanery Gardens and the popular Becket Chapel, each of which with their own individual charm allowing our clients to create a real wow factor without breaking the bank.
Interested parties should please note that owing to the nature of the surroundings certain restrictions are placed on operating hours, capacity and the type of event to be held within the Cathedral grounds.
Also, please note that the Cathedral at present only offers the venue space but unfortunately cannot offer an event management service or resources such as tables, chairs, marquees etc so this will all have to be dealt with externally and hired at extra cost to the client.
We are however able to offer catering for private events through our preferred partner hotel The Park Inn who also run an event management service and can accommodate any overnight guests attending the event at the same time and may be able to organise an all inclusive rate.
