There is much more to Peterborough Cathedral than first meets the eye. As an Enjoy England accredited visitor attraction, we do our utmost to provide an excellent experience for our visitors offering refreshments, a Souvenir Kiosk, conferencing and commercial facilities and also the hire of certain rooms and areas for private events.

As a former Benedictine monastery, we still honour the monastic tradition of hospitality and offer all guests a warm and friendly welcome as part of our ministry. As well as our new Cathedral coffee shop and our excellent array of gifts & souvenirs we also offer sumptuous and well kept green open spaces around the Precincts offering the opportunity for picnicking and even tours of normally private areas arranged by appointment with Linda Dowell – our Education and Visitor Officer.

Additionally, there are some excellent options for commercial conferencing and venue hire. So whether it’s a small business meeting, a large company dinner or a private party to celebrate a birthday or anniversary – we have a number of venues to choose from to suit all types of events.
