Deanery Gardens

The Deanery Garden is a wonderful option for outside events in a truly stunning setting including summer balls, garden parties and even wedding receptions with staggering views towards the Cathedral and set within 2.5 acres of beautiful greenery.

With a number of fantastically interesting features including an ancient castle mound known as Tout Hill, Deanery Gardens is the only venue suitable for marqueed events and provides an excellent outdoor facility for hundreds of guests.

Subject to permission, the Deanery Gardens may be hired out for special events at £100 an hour although an event management and service charge will also apply.

Please note operating hours and noise levels are slightly restricted due to proximity of Precinct residents but event organisers will be able to advise on what exactly can be achieved.
