Tower Tours
General tours of the Tower and upper levels of the Cathedral will be available this year each Wednesday and Saturday from July 26th - August 31st and again on October 25th, 29th and November 1st. Come and see behind the scenes and enjoy views of Peterborough and beyond from the highest point in the City.
Tours take place at 11.30 and 1.30 and last just over an hour.
Cost is £6.00 full price or £5.00 for all concessions. Children under 10 cannot take this tour and those aged between 10 and 17 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Not suitable for those with certain health and mobility problems. Sensible footwear and clothing should be worn
Group visits
All groups visiting the Cathedral should book in advance. In some circumstances groups may be refused admission.Guided tours are available at any time (including evenings) for parties booking in advance, depending on limitations imposed by services and other events.

School groups £1.50 per pupil – one FREE PLACE for every 5 booked (no charge for accompanying adults). A range of trails and activities is available for schools.
It is hoped that all unguided groups will make a contribution to our running costs on the same basis as other visitors (£4.00/£3.00), However, there is a minimum charge for group visits. The payment for this is the responsibility of the group leader, who should report to the Welcome Desk on arrival at the Cathedral. The charge is £25 for groups up to 30, £50 for groups of 30-60 and £75 for groups of over 60.
Groups wishing to bring their own guide must seek permission first and will be charged the same rate as for a guided tour with a Cathedral guide.

Tours can be organised to cover a wide range of subjects including:

Schools are welcome to come for anything from a short visit to a whole day including tour, activities and use of the Education Centre as a base and for lunch.
